Poles
KIZAKI
→PHOTO
The world famous KIZAKI brand. I've been using them since junior high. I use the carbon type. They made me the original Akira color and I'm pleased with it These carbon poles are #1 in the world when it comes to gripping. I like the straps because of its jesting name! The name is "Easy power strap". Awesome!!
Wear
PHENIX Currently, the ski wear is sponsored by Phenix but I hate the alpine type of ski wears. Easily said, I hate ski wears that are skinny looking. When I choose on my own, I pick up colors that show up in photo shoots. Those that I simply think is cool. I only choose snowboard or free ride wears. Of course, I'll have to wear the team wear when I'm doing alpine. I hate to wear the same and skinny looking pants but I'll have to live with it since I'm part of the team.
Racing suit
PHENIX A one-piece suit made by the collaboration of United Arrows Green Label and PHENIX, just for AKIRA only. It's popular among the foreigners. I especially like the previous fireworks design and always wear it during practice. It's nonsense to think that designs from the previous year is out of fashion or to say that I don't want to wear them because that would be a big waste. Just like clothes; I want to use and wear things I like for a long time, and will always be a part of my collection.
Gloves

This is hand made, one by one, by craftsman of lill sports. Is this a mitten? No! it's not! An AKIRA original. It's amazingly grip-easy and very warm.
Helmet
boeri

Helmet by boeri, and the one for alpine is custom made; for example, holes opened in places where it's normally not opened. My favorite helmet is the half cap with the brim. I want to compete in a race with it. I will someday.
Goggles

Goggles were the very first item I made in order to avoid using the same looking equipment compared to others. I dared to go against the current trend of "futuristic looks" and went back in time! I made the design surprisingly simple and old looking. The one other part I adhered to was the strap. Mr. Ito from UA Green Label joined us for design, which gave it a stylish look.
